Vintaj EternityEvery jeweler has his/her favorite metal to work with. I started out using silver plated metal and just being thrilled that I was able to bend and loop the metal the way I wanted it to bend and loop! So, then I discovered sterling silver. Just when I started getting used to the idea of spending a little extra money on a higher quality metal....I found a new favorite metal. It's called Vintaj natural brass, and I love it!
Apple Blossoms See, isn't it lovely? It has this antiqued look but still appears fresh and modern. And I love the story of how Vintaj came about. You can read more about it here . But essentially, it started as a dream that 3 women had, working together as artisans to inspire others to reach for their dreams.
Buried TreasureSo I have grand dreams of making loads of new pieces using natural brass metals, but it all takes time. And with my boys home in the summer, that's my life right now. I wouldn't have it any other way though. But stay tuned, and look for more of the lovely Vintaj inspired pieces in fall. In the meantime, I'll be laying awake at night dreaming of what to make next...
Very pretty. I always thought I was a silver girl, but I agree- the natural brass is lovely.
